Settlement Conference

A legal meeting between opposing counsels convened for the purpose of agreeing to financial payment of a claim. Essentially it is wealth transfer. It transfer a certain amount of wealth from one pocket to another; the disposition of property (think money) for the benefit of a person. It describes the amount of money, plus how, when and where it will be transferred.

The role of the mediator/arbiter assists the parties to reach agreement. Using creative ideas and when necessary gently nudging the parties to resolution the MAARSS Group can provide the expertise to assist the parties in reaching this resolution.
